Anne* and her husband, Victor, came into my office for an initial parent visit looking tired and worried. Their daughter, Olivia, aged 9, had recently received a diagnosis of ADHD, Combined type, from her pediatrician. Anne summarized: “Our pediatrician was helpful in recommending that we read “Driven to Distraction” and referring us for testing and to your practice and website. She was supportive and receptive to our concerns but she wasn’t able to target interventions about living with ADHD that fit our daughter. We wanted something more.”
