For the California Teacher Development Collaborative

Are you struggling to engage young learners and meet the various challenges of working with different ability students during this COVID 19 transition to online school? In this online workshop, Dr. Sharon Saline, clinical psychologist and author of the award winning book What your ADHD child wishes you knew: Working together to empower kids for success in school and life, will help you set up successful learning periods, structure the school day and incorporate differentiated instruction into your new online classroom. She’ll share techniques for motivating students, addressing alternative learning styles and special needs concerns and maintaining your connections with children from afar. We will also explore the new role for parents in their child’s education and how to support them in facilitating studying with appropriate levels of input to foster more cooperation and less conflict. This webinar will be both didactic and experiential so you’ll have opportunities to discuss issues particular to your individual situation and find workable solutions.
